BRIGHTEN DULL SKIN! | BEFORE & AFTERS | OVER 60 BEAUTY
Hi everyone! Over the past couple of years, the melasma on my forehead was getting pretty bad. In fact, in many of my videos the skin right around my hairline on my forehead looked like I had really overdone the self-tanner. For this reason, I started the prescription strength Obagi Nu-Derm system about a month ago. I had used the Obagi Nu-Derm system a couple of years ago, but discontinued using it due to the excessive irritation and peeling my skin was experiencing.
In my first month on the system, this time I again experienced the extreme peeling and redness, until I added a Vitamin C product called Eva Naturals Skin Clearing Serum a couple of weeks ago. I will put a link to that video below, as the product had more than 10,000 very positive Amazon reviews in terms of reducing hyperpigmentation. Those reviews were so compelling, and my initial week on that product was so positive, that I made a video about it.
I feel my progress on the Obagi system has been very good in terms of reducing hyperpigmentation, but with the 4% hydroquinone the product contains, you are just supposed to use it for 4-5 months at a time. I am hoping that when I stop using the Obagi hydroquinone products for a few months, I can use the Vitamin C product during that time to keep my hyperpigmentation at bay.
